Amazing coral reefs, with sands and clear waters, and most amazing of all…….. some unique wildlife. From afar, it looked like the island was infested by rats, and so it was called ‘Rattnest Island’ – looking closer the ‘rats’ are actually small marsupials – quokas – friendly and cute, like mini kangaroos complete with pouches and joeys!
