After 2 years of border closures New Zealand is now a very big step closer to welcoming visitors back to Aotearoa. This is great news and means that we can enter New Zealand without a requirement to isolate on arrival. With widespread cases of Omicron now in New Zealand the government no longer deems the border as the primary means of restricting the further spread of Covid and has thankfully fast-tracked border openings. The New Zealand Tourism Industry (and us!) are delighted as the next stage will be allowing isolation free travel to New Zealand for all vaccinated visitors from 50+ visa waiver countries. The NZ government has suggested this will occur ‘by July’ but have also promised further announcements on this in the next 2-4 weeks and have signalled isolation free travel for visitors will actually happen much earlier than July. We remain hopeful that this will occur in May or June.We have got busy and now started quoting for travel from July 2022, and most popular are the January February and March dates in 2023. Hooray! We simply cannot wait to talk to you about New Zealand!
